Monique Hemmingson is a writer, award-winning author and interior design consultant. She is passionate about storytelling, design, and conscious and creative living and advocates for ideals such as slow living, wellness, connection and mindfulness throughout her work and personal life.
With a BA in Media Arts Monique has demonstrated this ethos through numerous creative entrepreneurial vocations including the launch and running of two cafés and corresponding wellness events, the writing and art direction of her three published books and her work in various interior design projects over the last eight years.
She believes that wellness is multi-faceted and encompasses not only the food that we eat but our habits, rituals and the environment in which we live.
Monique is based in Mount Maunganui, with her husband James, their two children Lulu and Auggie, and dog Remy.
